Dear ArcGIS Team,

Can we post our own experimentation (sample using arcgis maps) which may help masses. If yes then how?

the arcgis.com code gallery is a great way to share sample applications that you think would be helpful to others, but with respect to web apps, its not possible to upload your own code to one of our servers.  you have to link to your own if you want to show it in action. 🙂

Yes I noticed the code gallery..But you may only create own maps by adding some online layers or from file. Its not about adding functionality or code. As you mentioned its ok if we have to share code examples.

For instance I had developed one gauge example which shows multiple value functionality in a single gauge. I wanted to share that functionality through Arcgis website. Basically implementation of arcgis tools and widgets.

Anyways, its ok.

How about your own github repo full of samples or jsfiddle full of samples with a basic front end for people? As you progress and if the content is interesting, more and more people will know it etc.

I have a list of good links i always check out before attempting anything for help etc, if you have some dam decient samples people will soon start having a look. Adding it in the forum in your signature or even just posting in here when you have created something new like nilu't toc and people soon notice.

good luck, im interested

@Abhy,

you can definitely post code samples to arcgis.com to share in our gallery.  please check out this article for more info.

that being said, GitHub is great too.  🙂

GitHub has been helpful to me; I would definitely recommend it.

What about JSFiddle? I came across it a few times but I had no idea you could post examples for others. Is there a page just with Esri samples? Like on GitHub?

Could you post that list? As a beginner I have to constantly look things up and the only way I am learning is while looking at samples/questions people had.
